5th ANNUAL 9/11
REMEMBRANCE RIDE
“A RIDE
TO REMEMBER”
Description: The 5th Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ride
will be held at the Worlds Fair Park in Knoxville,
Tennessee. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. and ceremony at
10:28 A.M. The short ceremony will be followed by a light
lunch at the park and a ride approximately 70 miles long.
Entertainment and more food will follow at the end of the
ride at Coyote Joe’s. Each bike will be asked again this
year to carry a picture and bio of each of the Firefighters,
Police officers, Port Authority and EMS personnel killed on
that tragic day, lest we forget their name and faces.
This
ride, hosted by the Blue Knights and Red Knights is a fund
raising event for two charities. The Red Knights
(firefighters) will donate all their proceeds to
Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department, of Anderson County
and the Blue Knights (police officers) will donate their
proceeds to the BLUE KNIGHTS COPSRUN, which offers ongoing
assistance and support to the families of fallen police
officers. The COPSRUN motto is, "They will never stand
alone", reminds us that no survivors will be forgotten.

9-11 Memorial Run

Description:
Sign-up for this escorted run
begins at 9:00 a.m. at Heroes Park. Heroes Park is located at
the corner of Palm Coast Parkway West and Corporate Drive, Palm
Coast, FL. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Escorted run
following the service into St. John's County, Volusia County and
back to Flagler County. Run will end at the White Eagle Lounge
(corner of Old Dixie Highway and US1). Food discounted to ride
participants with entertainment provided. Everyone is welcome
to honor our fallen. Motorcycles and cars welcome.

Annual TOMA “Ride for Burned Kids”
Description:
Proceeds from the TOMA Ride for
Burned Kids go directly to the TOMA Foundation for Burned
Children and will help defray the costs of pressure
garments, ergo-therapeutic masks, silicone and gel pads and
splints for these young burn survivors. Last year $11,495.53
was raised during the ride. Registration cost is $40 which
includes a commemorative pewter lapel pin and lunch. The
registration fee will be waived for donations totaling $100
or more.

Join the Red Knights Maryland 1
Chapter in Emmitsburg, MD on Saturday, Oct 4, 2008. Staging
begins at 9AM in the Costco parking lot (Walser Dr and
Market St off I-70 exit #54) Frederick, Maryland. Police
escorted ride to the Memorial leaves at 11AM. This ride
honors and pays respect to our fallen brothers and sisters;
it also shows support to their families and friends. Rain
or shine ride and open to ALL riders.
